Consumer Insights Manager

Riot Games has an immediate opening for a Consumer Insights Manager. The Consumer Insights Manager would be responsible for spreading insights derived from research, data mining, analytics, usability testing and player support tickets to the leadership and throughout Riot Games. This person should have a passion for sharing and spreading knowledge to enable better strategic decision making at all levels of the company. The ideal candidate would have the ability to generate a deep understanding the value of information from diverse sources, including the key takeaways, strategic implications and to whom the knowledge would be most useful. The Consumer Insights Manager should be extremely player-focused, with a great ability to understand what the insights reveal about the player experience.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and gather research from those producing player insights including Marketing, User Experience, Player Support, Business Intelligence and others at Riot Games
- Determine which groups would find the greatest value in the information
- Pro-actively tailor, present and share the insights with development, publishing and business groups across Riot's headquarters and international offices
- Evangelize insights to ensure knowledge is widely spread where it will impact decisions
- Evaluate and decide on a knowledge management solution for Riot Games to create a repository for sharing player insights broadly across the company - then manage and maintain the knowledge base
- Help identify knowledge and insight gaps that are critical
Requirements:
- 4+ Years experience in a field related to consumer insights, such as UX, Usability, Marketing or Consumer Research
- Passion for sharing and spreading knowledge; intellectual curiosity and thirst for learning
- Ability to understand the player's perspective
- Strong presentation skills, expertise in communicating verbally and in writing to varied audiences, including senior leadership
- Ability to understand and synthesize results from multiple sources including consumer research, quantitative analysis, usability results, and other forms of insights
- Team orientation and desire to help support other departments data-driven decision making
- Analytical thinking and an appreciation for coupled with understanding of analysis
- Results oriented, self-motivated and extremely organized
- Ability to execute on a wide variety of concurrent projects on schedule in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
