Web Coordinator

As one of the most popular PC games today, League of Legends is reshaping PC gaming and core gamers perception of virtual goods.  Riot Games (named a Top 30 developer by Game Developer Magazine), the publisher and developer of League of Legends, is experiencing a period of rapid growth, doubling the size of the company in the past year.  With several million players in their first game across the US and Europe, and numerous awards (including IGN.com’s Readers' Choice for Best Multiplayer Game for League of Legends), Riot Games has pioneered new ground with their debut title and is continuing to aggressively expand.

Building on this success, Riot Games is looking for a creative and driven Web Coordinator to help us organize and coordinate the development of a rapidly growing, community focused web team that’s at the cutting edge of technology. On the Riot Games web team you will not find yourself working on pre-packaged or pre-determined solutions, but owning goals to success through organizing teams and collaboration. We are self-organized, self-motivated, and the drivers of our own solutions.  

About the Job

  • Assist Web Producers and Technical Director with day to day operational tasks such as scheduling meetings, creating presentations, generating reports, email management, diagram creating, and data collection.
  • Inform stakeholders and business owners of project progress, changes, and emergent information.
  • Learn about Agile and Lean development methodologies.
  • Grow yourself, your management, your peers, and junior members of the team
  • Exemplify Riot values and culture and own their promotion within teams
  • Focused on results, not hours invested
  • Boil up feedback about the game/platform in company playtests

About You

Experienced with: 

  • A fast paced work environment and fast paced communication
  • Real-time requests
  • Dealing with ambiguity and non-comprehensive environments
  • Dealing with creative talent and developers
  • Contributing to create a healthy team morale

Basic Understanding of:

  • Software Development
  • Web Technologies
  • Human nature and interpersonal relationships 
  • You are excited about the new ideas Riot brings to the web space
  • You are legally authorized or able to obtain legal authorization to work in the US
