Chris oversees public relations strategy and execution for Riot Games. Prior to joining Riot, Chris cut his teeth at TriplePoint, a communications agency where he worked with a variety of online gaming companies on titles like Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Chris was forged into a hardboiled PR warrior under the blistering sun of Arizona, where he studied journalism and mass communications (with an emphasis in PR) at the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State. Beyond the walls of Riot Games, Chris is a music fiend (and guitarist), amateur cicerone (that’s like a walking craft beer encyclopedia), eater of food, and a person who exists.

Special Ability: "PR Alchemy"

Harnessing the mystical power of the Open Bar, Chris magically converts alcohol into headlines.

Matt Marcou
Matt Marcou
Class: eSports Manager
Skills: Hypothetical Argument +20

Matt was born in a teepee among the Indian tribe of Milwaukee where he lived for 25 years, working out and building his "e" muscles for "e" competition. However, he loved playing with Fire (and Ice) - and discovered his true calling in running eSports competitions and managing eSports teams. Before taking management of Evil Geniuses, Matt sponsored his own group of fledgling pros, known as VerGe Gaming.

Matt comes to us from the professional wrestling organization, SteelSeries, and is very well known and respected in the DotA and eSports community.

Special Ability: "Pro-Gamer Crowd Control"

Even under times of great stress, Matt has the ability to marshall any group of even the most unruly gamers into an exciting tournament.

Melee player in the Midwest, as well as a Merciless Gladiator in World of Warcraft.

Special Ability: "Tech Link"

Jeffrey Pfingsten
Jeffrey Pfingsten
Class: Associate Media Producer
Skills: Screenshooting +15

Prior to living in Los Angeles, Jeffrey grew up on a small farm in the Big Sky country of Montana. Upon reaching the ripe old age of eighteen, Jeffrey parted ways from his rural roots and moved to California to pursue a degree in Film and Television from the University of Southern California, where the ample sunshine and big city life suited him nicely. While attending USC, Jeffrey was involved in a variety of student projects of both the film and video game flavor, in addition to holding several graphic design and video editing positions for the school. After graduation, Jeffrey joined the marketing department of Riot Games to produce screenshots, trailers, and other media materials. When not entrenched in the world of Runeterra, Jeffrey enjoys hiking, going on road trips, and wine-tasting under the sublime Californian sun.

Special Ability: "Hickstorm"

Drawing upon his arcane knowledge of the mountain wilderness, Jeffrey summons a maelstrom of backcountry savvy to whip up a cozy, habitable campsite and provide a plentiful bounty of wild eats in even the most extreme of outdoor conditions.

Andrew Woo
Laura Brown
Class: Marketing Strategy & Monetization Manager
Skills: International Woman of Mystery +007

Starting her humble beginnings in Hong Kong, the British native moved to England in her teens and received her Bachelors of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics. It is widely rumoured that Laura was actually working in British intelligence and was secretly undercover whilst living in colonised Hong Kong. While this is just a theory, it is worth noting that Laura possesses a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, can solve most complex composite ciphers in her head, and is strangely at ease around the sound of gunfire.

Laura worked as an investment banker for five years in the London office of UBS post-graduation. She later received an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business before reconciling her preoccupation with gaming and settling into the marketing department here at Riot Games. Concerns remain about her potential status as a sleeper agent.

Special Ability: "Deceptively Formidable"

Laura's experience as a covert operative allows her to track down and decipher key business data and player behaviour to enhance her ability to optimise strategy.

He enjoys travelling, fantasy basketball, and trying to throw guys twice his weight, which he would like to let everyone know can result in hernia surgery.

Special Ability: "Noob Convert"

Grants non-Lol players +5 Movement towards signing up, logging in, leveling up, and general fool ganking.
