  • 对文案在游戏中有生动的表达有深入的研究
  • 擅长编写和改编新的叙事内容
  • 具有一定的系统思维,懂得文案和系统玩法的结合

As a Game Designer, you will design, tweak, and optimize the player experience. Your analytical skills, player insight, and creativity help craft in- and out-of-game experiences that engage and surprise players. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and work with every tool at hand to create and iterate player-focused designs that will delight millions around the world.

As a Principal Narrative Designer in Research & Development working on an early-stage product, you will help decipher one of Riot’s next big bets. You will partner with other designers, artists, and engineers to improve and iterate player-focused designs that aim at delivering a groundbreaking experience. We are still a small team, so this requires plenty of hands-on work creating, and tuning systems/mechanics. You are comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment where goals and constraints are mostly team-driven and where change, big and small, is an essential part of the process. You will report to the executive producer on the team.

Responsibilities

  • Own core features such as combat, social, and resource management
  • Seek opportunities for new design spaces and opportunities within the genre
  • Rapidly add content, identify novel solutions, and prove out ideas
  • Leverage basic prototype tools to create value, and identify how we can extend these tools going into the future
  • Create clear design documentation that can be evaluated and implemented by non-designers
  • Complete the narrative design in prototype including in-game implementation experiment verification
  • Extend the storyline between characters based on the LoL worldview
  • Design the content with multi-branches in repeating the experience
  • Work closely with the Central and China IP team

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in professional game design experience
  • Passionate in games and belief in players' experience first
  • Strong understanding of LoL IP and legend as our current fans
  • A deep understanding of express narrative in-game vividly
  • Good at compiling and revising new narratives
  • Has a system design mindset to combine narrative design and system gameplay

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with the Unreal Engine 
  • Experience with mobile development
  • Experience with early-stage games and prototyping, work under delayed gratification, be patient, and pursue excellence 
  • Experience working inside a small team
  • Comfortable with intrinsic characteristics of early R&D
  • Fluent in English  to cooperate with IP team, and polish current content in English
