Account Management Executive (18-Month Contract)

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Management Executive to enhance our efforts at Riot in servicing our LEC and VCT EMEA sponsors, ensuring best-in-class partnership management and delivery.
This 18-month contract role is based in Berlin, Germany, and requires the candidate to be located in Berlin. While we operate under a hybrid working model, office attendance 3 x per week is required, and essential for effective collaboration, attending on-site meetings, and managing in-person responsibilities as needed.
As part of the Berlin-based Partnerships team, you will report directly to the EMEA Head of Partnerships. You will collaborate closely with Account Managers and other Riot departments to build trust and deliver exceptional value to our partners.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will coordinate day-to-day servicing of Riot esports partnerships to deliver top-tier sponsorship rights.
- Understand and support sponsor needs and objectives.
- Coordinate onboarding sessions for new partners in collaboration with the Account Manager.
- Identify partners’ business goals and marketing objectives, setting measurable success criteria for each partnership.
- Execute sponsorship rights fulfillment, ensuring contractual obligations are met, monitored, and measured while working with internal teams for seamless delivery.
- Implement sponsorship strategies to maximize partner ROI/ROO through clear, objective-driven execution.
- Optimize marketing campaign approval processes, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Explore emerging technology trends to design innovative fan engagement initiatives.
- Create insightful recap reports, analyzing data to offer actionable ideas for partnership enhancement.
- Develop engaging presentations to showcase partnership opportunities.
- Implement onsite sponsor summit, sponsor hospitality, partner activations and guest experiences during events and roadshows in the EMEA region.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, tracking contracts, and managing records to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in esports, sports, and entertainment to inform partnership strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in account management roles within sports or esports organizations.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the esports landscape.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and German or French; additional languages are a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative mindset with the ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with stakeholders.
- Personal Attributes:

- Service-oriented, detail-focused with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Honest, transparent, and fair in approach.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of Photoshop is advantageous.
