Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played video game in the world, over 100 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.

We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.

That's where you come in.

As a CPX (Consumer Products and Experience) Operations Manager - Korea, you will own and scale Riot Games Korea’s CPX operational engine while helping shape the short- and long-term strategy for direct-to-consumer (DTC) business and experiential growth. This role blends hands-on execution with strategic ownership and is designed for someone who can both “run the business” and continuously improve how the business operates.

You will need to operate with autonomy, manage critical partners and budgets, and work seamlessly with Riot’s game and esports teams to deliver CPX initiatives tied to key milestone moments that directly impact CPX growth and sustainability in Korea.

As a Rioter in Seoul, you’ll join a tight knit group of exceptionally bright minded individuals who share our prioritization of player experience, rejection of convention, and passion for gaming. Riot Games Korea is dedicated to creating tailored player experiences that show local players they aren’t lost in translation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute short-and-long-term operational strategies to support scalable DTP growth

  • Lead CPX fiscal management in Korea, including budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimization
  • Drive operational readiness for major launches and seasonal moments across Riot franchises and esports
  • Drive pivotal CPX projects end-to-end, from planning through execution and post-mortem analysis
  • Identify structural gaps and proactively improve operating models, processes, and governance
  • Serve as a key point of operational decision-making for CPX Korea by partnering closely with regional and global stakeholders to align priorities, timelines, and execution standards

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in operations, strategy & operations, retail management, or related roles
  • Proven experience owning projects, budgets, and cross-functional execution
  • Strong analytical and planning skills with the ability to translate strategy into action
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and functions, align stakeholders toward shared goals, and operate independently while influencing without formal authority
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in Korean and English

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience scaling DTC businesses in complex environments
  • Background in supply chain management and domestic and international logistics
  • Experience managing both internal teams and external agencies
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and building structure where none exists
  • Experience in consumer products, lifestyle, entertainment, or fandom-related industries

For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players. We will be looking at your past studies, experience, and your personal relationship with games. If you embody player empathy and care about players' experiences, this could be your role!

Don’t forget to include a resume and cover letter. We receive a lot of applications, but we’ll notice a fun, well-written intro that shows us you take play seriously.
