EMEA People Operations Shared Service Specialist

As an essential part of our People Team, you will act as the go to HR resource for a wide variety of HR related queries. You will be an important player in the full Rioter life-cycle, from candidate onboarding to offboarding and you will take responsibility for responding to incoming inquiries from employees, managers, HR team members, and former employees. Together with the Global People Team, you will focus on building a trustful, open and fair culture to support great people and an amazing product.
You will report to the Manager, People Operations EMEA and join a global team of passionate professionals dedicated to driving efficiency and building strong processes.
This role will be based in our Dublin City Centre Office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a variety of HR administrative tasks, including benefits and compensation inquiries, talent acquisition support, onboarding and offboarding processes, employee data updates, and preparation of HR reports.
- Research and resolve employee queries by collaborating with teams across the People organization or escalating as needed, ensuring alignment across various EMEA countries.
- Prepare monthly payroll, provide employees with access to benefits information, and support process improvement initiatives within the Operations team.
- Partner with EMEA and Global teams on finance, tax, and compliance matters affecting Rioters in the region.
- Assist in creating and maintaining policies and procedures, contributing to the enhancement of existing processes and the development of new initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Central Benefits team to deliver best-in-class benefits to employees.
- Support the delivery of projects within the team and in collaboration with the broader EMEA People team.
- Support and contribute to ongoing HRIS improvements, ensuring system efficiency and data accuracy.
- Develop and maintain team and employee-facing knowledge bases and relevant resources.
- Support the onboarding and training of team members to ensure alignment and operational excellence.
- Meet performance and service level metrics for timeliness & accuracy
Required Qualifications:
- Min 4+ years of proven work experience as an HR Advisor or HR Generalist Experience of working with EMEA HR admin & operations.
- Payroll inputs experience.
- Experience in HR shared services environments across EMEA region.
- Knowledge of HR best practices in EMEA.
- Experience with HRIS, preferably Workday and the Google Suite.
- Proven experience in identifying & implementing ongoing process improvements.
- Experience participating in project delivery.
Desired Qualifications
- Written and verbal communication skills in German.
- Written and verbal communication skills in French.
- Knowledge of HR best practices in France, Spain or Germany would be beneficial.
- Experience of contributing to large scale system implementations.
