Riot’s People team exists to help Riot make better decisions around its talent. The Learning and Development Facilitator, reporting to the Senior Manager, People Programs will ensure consistent and high quality delivery of desired learning outcomes across L&D’s portfolio of learning experiences (e.g. Denewb, Crucial Conversations, DiSC, etc.).  The role will partner with program managers, instructional designers, HRBP’s,  and stakeholders in the business to engage Rioters in immersive learning experiences that drive business results.  

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and support the team on a variety of initiatives as well as work independently in developing learning strategies and solutions to support Riot-wide talent enablement.
  • Lead/facilitate classes across L&D programs including but not limited to: New Hire Orientation, Global Onboarding, Crucial Conversations, DiSC, Diversity and Inclusion, and Manager Development
  • Collect and analyze feedback and provide recommendations to improve learner experiences
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with managers, colleagues, and other professionals
  • Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction that meets the needs of adult learners
  • Prepare instructional materials, presentations, leaders guide, participant guide, handouts and facilities
  • Adapt instructional materials to meet learner needs including varying backgrounds, learning styles and special needs
  • Provide a positive environment and manage group conduct to promote active engagement of participants in the learning process
  • Work closely and collaboratively with instructional designers, subject matter experts, colleagues and key stakeholders to define project scope, strategy, budget, and outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of facilitation or teaching experience preferable with adult learners 
  • Strong presentation skills to engage participants
  • Proven ability to facilitate engaging learning, consult, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment 
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (Workday) is a plus.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role at a fast-growing tech company or other similar company
  • Education Graduate Degree
  • Ability to teach through story-telling
  • Experience facilitating Crucial Conversations, DiSC, Diversity and Inclusion materials, and/or Erin Meyer’s Culture Map

  • (Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $84,700.00 - $119,500.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
