Christian Linke
Christian Linke is the Head of Animation Studio at Riot Games, where he oversees animation development. Linke co-created and served as the showrunner for the Emmy-winning Netflix series Arcane, which marked Riot’s first animated series. He was also part of the large League of Legends team that originally created Vi and Jinx, the beloved League champions who are the protagonists of Arcane, alongside Fortiche production.
Prior to his work on Arcane, Christian - a former musician - used his skills to create Riot’s music division from the ground up. From music videos to esports anthems to theme songs introducing new League champions, Christian has been defying expectations about what a game company can do to enhance an IP and provide various points of access for players and fans. He and Alex co-created an original lyrical song dedicated to Vi and “Get Jinxed,” the hit music video starring Jinx. These projects marked Riot’s first foray into character building through music.
He began his career at Riot in the company’s early days, where he served as a customer service agent answering questions about League.
