Abhi “Gorn” Ramprasad is the Chief Strategy Officer at Riot Games where he shapes long-term strategy, drives critical cross-company initiatives and forges partnerships to bring Riot’s mission to life. He’s responsible for Corporate Strategy, Business Health and Analytics, Corporate Development, Platform and Strategic Partnerships, and the Office of the CEO.
Abhi joined Riot in 2021, where he was drawn to Riot by a shared passion for games and a deep resonance with its player-first mission. Before joining Riot, he spent close to a decade at McKinsey & Company, serving Technology and Consumer companies around the world on a wide variety of topics. Abhi started his career as a developer at Yahoo!, before transitioning into business, and has worked in several countries.
He is a lifelong gamer, with several 1,000+ hour games he enjoys. Some of his favorite games of all-time include DotA, Deus Ex, Diablo, Red Dead Redemption, WoW, Unreal Tournament, Knight Online, and of course League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics. His League Champion pool leans heavily into map presence and split pushing with Yorick, Trundle, and Urgot as his go-to choices. Abhi is also a strategy board game enthusiast and a die-hard fan of the San Antonio Spurs.
Born and raised in India, he holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
