Abhi “Gorn” Ramprasad is the Head of Strategy and Partnerships at Riot Games, where he partners with leaders across the company to shape long-term strategy, supports the execution of this strategy, and forges the partnerships that bring Riot’s mission to life. He’s responsible for business strategy and planning, strategic initiatives, cross-company partnerships, investments and M&A.
Abhi was drawn to Riot by a shared passion for games and a deep resonance with its player-first mission. Before joining Riot, he spent close to a decade at McKinsey & Company, helping technology and consumer companies around the world. Abhi started his career as a developer at Yahoo!, before transitioning into business, and has worked in several countries.
He is a lifelong gamer, with several 1,000+ hour games he enjoys. Some of his favorite games of all-time include DotA, Deus Ex, Diablo, Red Dead Redemption, WoW, Unreal Tournament, Knight Online, Half-Life, and of course League of Legends. His League Champion pool leans heavily into map presence and split pushing with Yorick, Trundle, and Urgot as his go-to choices.
Born and raised in India, he holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management. Abhi is also a strategy board game enthusiast and a die-hard San Antonio Spurs fan, despite never having set foot in San Antonio. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
