That's where you come in.

As the Community Manager, reporting to the Head of Entertainment, China Publishing, you will lead the strategy and roadmap for building a digital Entertainment community product/platform in a bid to nurture ever-growing audiences of Riot Entertainment – whether it’s our players, TV / films lovers or music fans. You will collaborate with both internal Content, CPX, Publishing teams and external creative and production partners to plan and develop a digital product/platform that offers industry-leading viewer and creator experience, community interaction and membership program. 

Leveraging your product operation experience and/or analytical skills and knowledge of mobile users to refine the best digital user experience and continually to drive the optimization after the product is launched. You are expected to work on multiple projects in parallel, and be a self-starter. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing Riot Entertainment community and operation strategy 
  • Spearhead the planning of the product/platform architecture and manage the development process of UX/UI and features with third-party production partners (Tech, Q&A etc.) to achieve the top-notch user experience for our players and fans
  • Work with internal Strategic Advisory team to articulate research requests and carry out product testing based on business needs; analyze market trends and user data and translate those into key features and optimization opportunities
  • Drive the communication and collaboration across multiple internal and external partners, including Content, CPX, Publishing, GR, Legal, to ensure the community product/ platform supports business objectives while in compliance with local codes
  • Lead the product/platform operation to achieve user acquisition and community growth objectives 
  • Source the right partners to bring this community product/platform to life
  • Work closely with the Central Community team and build our Entertainment community product/platform as a global business case

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ operation /product experience at Internet company required
  • Ability to craft a product vision (short to long term) and convert that into a concrete strategy and action plan
  • Comfortable handling both the technical aspects of developing a product with engineers as well as having insights into user behavior and psychology towards providing the best user experience
  • Excellent project management skills with strong communication skills, able to manage external and internal teams to drive the success
  • Self-motivated, resilient and able to work with ambiguity and change in the fast-paced environment
  • Speak and write fluent English and Chinese
  • Experience with UI/UX and being a gamer is a plus
