Riot’s People team exists to help Rioters make better decisions around its talent. The Senior Workday Analyst, reporting to the Director, People Technology, will manage the administration of multiple systems / processes within the Compensation & Benefits modules in Workday, as well as, the project management of small to medium sized projects and technical integrations, including building project plans and ensuring adherence to project schedules. You will develop, build, and provide complex reporting for management and staff. Additionally, you will also assist the People Systems & Technology team and subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows, dashboard preparation and process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and ensure execution of various testing activities to ensure appropriate testing is conducted for the work effort

  • Develop Business Requirements based on user needs; review the results of system projects to determine if business requirements were met

  • Facilitate post-effort reviews to develop and document best practices

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for operational excellence to maximize process and systems efficiencies

  • Conduct business user interviews and analysis to provide appropriate data recommendations to drive business decisions

  • Translate high-level HR business requirements into functional specifications for HR data analysis and manage changes to such specifications

  • Create detailed system integration specifications, field mapping, and system process design and documentation

  • Design and develop moderate to advanced complex analysis and reporting that meets business user needs

  • Continuously look for ways to leverage technology and enterprise data to identify potential growth opportunities and/or operational excellence

  • Proactive management of Talent data and measuring the quality of the Talent data used in analysis

  • Will lead People Systems projects and integrations. May lead others in completion of such projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor (4-year) degree in Business, Human Resources, or with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.

  • 5+ years of HR system administration or data analysis, configuration and support required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting at least two (2) HR cross functional groups such as Compensation and Benefits or Performance/Talent Management, Learning & Development, Recruiting, Talent Partners or Payroll

  • Experience in project coordination, software development or related work experience.

  • Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize and effectively manage multiple small to medium scope projects concurrently an

  • (Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $124,900.00 - $175,600.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
