Our Berlin office is dedicated to serving players and fans with excellence through EMEA esports and publishing across DACH and CEE.

Berlin is a city with a bustling gaming and esports scene that has continued to grow over the last few decades. Rioters in Berlin are a key part of our operations in EMEA, the city is home to both our regional esports team and the publishing teams for DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) and CEE (Central and Eastern Europe).

Since 2015, Riot’s EMEA esports team has been based in Adlershof, when the team opened the Riot Games Arena (formerly the EU LCS Studio and later the LEC Studio), along with a nearby office space. Today, the team delivers world-class competition through the VALORANT Champions Tour EMEA and the League of Legends EMEA Championship, building unforgettable experiences for fans across the region.

Whether it’s producing elite esports broadcasts or collaborating with countries across EMEA to stage regional leagues and live events like the LEC Summer Finals, this team is driven by one goal: serving players and fans with excellence.

In 2024, the DACH and CEE Publishing teams joined the Adlershof office, following their move from Berlin Mitte. Combined, these teams serve players across more than 40 languages and champion our mission of making it better to be a player—whether by bringing our games to life through local events or by partnering with content creators and communities to build lasting connections.
