Jack “ActionJackson” Calvi is Riot’s head of product. In this role he leads product and insights across Riot ensuring we are building and delivering genre defining experiences for our players. In this role Jack spends a lot of time deeply understanding the specific players we are trying to serve with each game, aligning the specifics of the product to differentiate where it matters most.
Jack joined Riot in 2013, starting in the ecommerce group. Over time he expanded to look across our portfolio, making sure the lessons we have learned from years of service permeate allowing us to improve release over release. Jack founded critical groups like business health and helped put the “s” in Riot Games. In 2023 he re-formed the product department composed of Rioters specializing in the who, why and what for all that we make.
Jack is a lifelong gamer. He spent his teen years binging Magic the Gathering and Blizzard titles like Starcraft, Diablo II, Warcraft 3 and WoW. He has also spent thousands of hours playing League, TFT, VAL and LoR. If you name it, he has probably played it (for research purposes of course).
Jack grew up in New York City, graduated from Tufts University and lived in LA for 13 years while working at Riot. He now resides in Aspen with his wife, two kids and adorable corgi.
