Laura DeYoung
Laura DeYoung is Riot’s SVP of Central Creative and Creative Director for League of Legends. In her current role, she helps shape the creative direction of League while guiding broader creative and IP strategy across Riot, bringing a cross-disciplinary approach to how Riot’s worlds, stories, and player experiences connect.
Laura has been with Riot for more than a decade and has held a number of creative leadership roles across the company. Earlier in her Riot career, she served as Art Director for League of Legends and Head of the Creative Department, where she oversaw more than 340 developers spanning art, audio, and narrative.
Before joining Riot, Laura held art leadership roles across the games industry, including at Ubisoft on Assassin’s Creed 2 and Far Cry 3, and at Electronic Arts on NBA Street 4 Homecourt. Before moving into games, she worked as a web designer and art director, earning awards for work with Nike.com, Absolut Vodka, and Universal Pictures’ Spider-Man.
