URF Academy

What they do

In 2016, a group of Rioters launched a monthly workshop for middle school and high school students in an effort to showcase the diversity of professional opportunities within the video games industry. Staffed by Riot volunteers, this workshop was named Urf Academy. 

How we're helping

Urf Academy’s current offerings include a two-hour workshop on game design or creative writing, a lunch-and-learn with Rioters and a tour of Riot HQ. Student groups are selected through partnerships with local government organizations, schools and educational nonprofits.
