TL;DR: Applications for partner programs in League of Legends, VALORANT, and Teamfight Tactics will open starting in August.
Partner programs across our games are entering a new era. Back when League was our only game, we had the League Partner Program (LPP). But, years ago, we paused new applications as we worked to figure out the next evolution of our partner programs—one that could help support incredible creators across our growing list of games. We started that evolution with a closed beta and now we’re launching more features—and bringing more creators along for the ride.
Starting in August, creators will be able to directly apply to League, VALORANT, and TFT’s Partner Programs. We’re excited to officially welcome thousands of creators into these new programs that offer the unique benefits and support that creators have been asking for.
Applications will open for VALORANT in August, League in September, and TFT in October with each application period staying open for about a month. While we’re still a few months away, it’s never too early to prepare. There’s a few things you’ll need to have in order to be considered for one of these programs. And, no, a giant audience isn’t one of them—we’re looking to bring in both established and up-and-coming creators.
Partner Program Requirements
Passion for the game. We’re looking for creators with a genuine connection to our games, so we’ll look at how you play, create, and engage with the game you’re applying to join.
Positive impact on the community. Creators influence how players play our games. How you interact with others—on both your own platforms, and on Riot’s—will impact your application.
An active community. Our programs are designed for up-and-coming creators, just as much as those with established communities. General benchmarks will vary by game and by region, but the most important thing is that your community is engaged.
Partner Program Benefits
If that sounds like you, here’s what you can expect if you’re approved:
Features that make content creation easier and more rewarding. Things like:
Unlocked Champs, Agents, or Tacticians
Giveaway codes for your community
Complimentary battle passes
Dedicated Player Support for creator-specific issues
Access to a brand new Creator Hub, providing tools, resources, and support
Unique, creator-specific opportunities like drops programs, marketing campaigns, and early access to content.

If you’re still building your community or don’t make it in during the initial application period, don’t worry—this won’t be the only opportunity. We plan to open applications again in the future.

Each game’s initial open application period will be available for about a month. Here are the specific dates:
VALORANT: August 3, 2026 – August 28, 2026
League of Legends: September 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026

Does Wild Rift have a Partner Program?
Wild Rift’s Partner Program is entering a closed beta later this month, with invites being sent to selected creators. League, VALORANT, and TFT followed a similar path in 2025, and we expect Wild Rift to move toward open applications in 2027.
Do 2XKO, Legends of Runeterra, and Riftbound have Partner Programs?
We’re always exploring how we can support creators across all of our games but, at this time, we don’t have any new information to share about partner programs for 2XKO, LoR, or Riftbound. That said, each game continues to invest in creators in ways that make sense for their communities. For example, Riftbound recently shared more about how it’s uplifting TCG creators. You can follow each game’s social channels for the latest updates and opportunities.
What regions are eligible for Partner Programs?
These programs are available to creators all over the world but due to restrictions in a small number of countries, we may not be able to accept some creators.
When will applications open again in the future?
Short answer: We’re not sure.
Long answer: As soon as we’re confident it’ll be a great experience for additional creators! This is our first time welcoming creators at this scale. It takes time to review every application and onboard all the new creators and we want to ensure our partner programs have scaled effectively before supporting an influx of additional creators. Details on future opportunities to apply will be available on Riot’s social channels and on the Creator Hub front page.
Will these partner programs include cosplayers and community artists?
Not at this time, but we’re actively exploring ways we can better support both cosplayers and community artists. More on that soonTM.
